Allied has serviced my cars for decades. They are my neighborhoods mechanic. The owner is what I'd call expert level knowledgeable about various makes and models and their problems known and unknown. They are very reliable to diagnose a problem if it is not obvious. Staff are all very personable. Owner to mechanics they are happy. Not the cheapest shop in town; but you get what you pay for both in service and quality of work.

I was on a big road trip and somewhere in the middle, my brake warning light came on saying pads needed replacing. I called my regular mechanic, 500 miles away, and confirmed they just did a brake service and changed pads. They told me I could visually check and see that the pads are still very thick or bring into a mechanic’s shop and they could check for a fee. I chose the latter just to be sure—I was not even half done on the road trip. AAW checked and pads were fine. They said a sensor probably broke and offered to change pads and sensors but encouraged me to complete the trip and then see my regular mechanic. I thought that was pretty honest—they could have played on fear and pressured me to buy pads and services from them but they gave me an honest answer. I appreciated that!

This mechanic is amazing. I had been to other mechanic near my house. They couldn’t find out cause of my car’s noise. But this mechanics was able to find broken nail in my car and fix it. It was great work. And the cost was affordable that other mechanic. Thank you so much!
