I have had very positive experiences with Allied Auto, including courteous and prompt service. I especially like the night drop process, courtesy rides, and the fact that they are not overly agressive on recommending work in appropriate circumstances.

Auto mechanics and shops are like lawyers; you either are one or have to trust one. So with that said: On rare occasions the auto repair and mechanic shop experience is transformed from the mundane insincere high pressure sales tactics to a genuine desire to help the customer. To ensure their questions are satisfactorily answered, and at ease with their decision regarding the necessary work required to repair a malfunctioning vehicle. I say this because so many of my experiences with auto shops and mechanics have been negative, insincere and highly suspicious. As a result, I?ve never written a letter like this before about anyone and I want you to recognize how much time I have spent thinking about what happened, how many times I have repeated the story to other people, and the time I have spent committing it to print. I could not have had better experiences, despite the repair costs. I repeatedly asked number questions, even offer my opinion, for what it was worth. Brett?s patience stood out as he explained each problem, showing me the parts that were replaced and where or how the malfunctioned occurred. I can't recommend them enough. I was in the area to look at a used car I found on Craigslist. I found them on Cat Talk's mechanics database, gave them a call, and they said they'd do a pre-sale inspection at a really great price. In the end, I bought a car that belonged to one of their regular customers, and it was the perfect gently used vehicle. As a student on a limited budget and someone with no previous connection to this garage, they went out of their way to help me out. I spent a lot of time there over a couple days, and it seems like there are a lot of loyal customers. If Los Altos wasn't such a haul, I'd go there for regular service.

Since I started bringing my car to Allied Auto Works on Allied Auto Works Grant Road, I have been extremely satisfied with the knowledge of the staff and performance of their work.

I recently paid my second visit to Allied Auto Works. I was most impressed with the repair work and customer service that I received on both occassions. The work was performed in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction. Craig Stopper and his associate Tony provided even me with transportation to and from my home in Los Altos. I recommend Craig and his talented, exoerienced and professional team without reservation and I will gladly be a repeat customer again in the future.

I brought my car in to have a headlight repaired and Allied Auto Works did a FREE inspection for me, detailing what all repairs would cost. Brett, the service manager, allowed me to come into the garage and take a look at all of the damage for myself and carefully explained what the repairs would entail. Lastly, he was honest with me and explained that it would not be a wise investment to do all repairs and that I should just go buy a new car. If you want a auto repair shop that doesn't try to rip you off, Allied Auto Works is it!
